Lindsey Graham throws support to Ted Cruz

According to an invitation obtained by POLITICO, Graham will headline a fundraiser for Cruz on Monday.

This marks the second senator to publicly support Cruz, and is a significant development: Graham, a more centrist South Carolina senator, until recently openly detested his colleague from Texas. But in recent weeks he has suggested that Cruz stands the best chance of beating Donald Trump.

I’m not even really sure what to say here.

Good for Graham for not letting personal enmity get in the way of the election?

Way to completely flip flop on what you supposedly believed?

Does this hurt Cruz to have someone reviled as “Establishment” fundraising for him?

Will it break the logjam of endorsements from higher ups in the GOP and bring in some sweet sweet Establishment Cash?

This primary season has been utterly insane and this is just another example of it. If McCain endorses Cruz, well, you can find me under the overpass at the corner of the MLK Expressway and E 8th St. I’ll be the guy laughing hysterically and drinking heavily.
